Dig Safely New York Observed Holidays

If your excavation has not started within 10 working days of the stated commencement date, your stake-out request will no longer be valid, and a new stake-out request will have to be called in.

However, if you have been preserving the staking, markings or other designations since the stated commencement date, then no call to Dig|Safely. New York is necessary for as long as you successfully maintain those marks. In this scenario it is imperative to maintain the markings from your stated commencement date until excavation work is complete. Please refer to preserving the marks for responsibilities and tips on maintaining the marks.
